After watching Osaka, Japan's Buddhadatta live in Australia early this year, we had to sign this unique and exciting band to Kasumuen Records!
Calling themselves Buddhist-Punx, this trio produce a brand of punk that is tribal, mystical and rockin'! They had full houses at several Victorian shows this year, wowing audiences with their danceable tunes and engaging live show. We are very hopeful of Buddhadatta returning to Oz next year!
In the meantime, to celebrate their signing we are releasing a very special, limited edition, blended vinyl LP with individually hand screen printed covers. This is the first time that Buddhadatta has appeared on vinyl. We are pairing them on this release with Australian gigging partners, Paul Kidney Experience - the two bands clicked on tour this year, both personally and in engaging full house audiences!

I’ve been really enjoying their follow up to this one; 2020s Sharks album an altogether more post punk album than this one which is more a noisy alt. rock album, either way they’re both great listens and another great find… Mt.Vic.Matt
